Zimbabwe has re-opened its international airport, and travelers are allowed to enter. Many domestic restrictions are still in place.

Zimbabwe's airport is open for international travel, while most land borders remain closed.

Victoria Falls and Kazungula land borders are open for vaccinated arrivals.

Do I need to go into quarantine when arriving to Zimbabwe?

Anyone arriving to Zimbabwe from India must quarantine for 10 days in an approved facility.

Are COVID-19 tests required to travel to Zimbabwe?

Anyone entering Zimbabwe must present a negative PCR test, no older than 48 hours before departure. The results must be uploaded to the Trusted Travel Initiative platform.

Arrivals from India will be tested on days 2, 3, 5 and 10 at their own expense, and will leave quarantine only after receiving a negative result.

Are the restaurants and bars open in Zimbabwe?

Restaurants and cafes in Zimbabwe are open from 8:00 until 00:00 for takeaway and vaccinated individuals can dine inside.

Bars are open to vaccinated individuals only.

Are businesses and attractions open in Zimbabwe?

  • Most non-essential businesses and attractions in Zimbabwe are open from 8:00 until 19:00.
  • Night clubs and gyms remain closed.
  • A nightly curfew is in place from 22:00 to 5:30.

Do I need to wear a face mask in Zimbabwe?

It is required to wear a face mask whenever leaving the house.
