Can I travel to the United States?

Foreign nationals who have been in any of the following countries during the past 14 days are not allowed to enter to the United States:

  • China 🇨🇳
  • European Schengen area
  • United Kingdom 🇬🇧
  • Ireland 🇮🇪
  • Brazil 🇧🇷
  • South Africa 🇿🇦
  • India I🇮🇳
  • Iran 🇮🇷
  • European Union countries

This does not apply to US citizens, residents and permitted arrivals.

Do I need to go into quarantine when arriving to the United States?

  • In general, all international arrivals are recommended, but not required, to enter a 14 days self-quarantine.
  • Arrivals from low-risk countries are encouraged to self-quarantine for 7-10 days.
  • Some states have imposed this as a requirement, while others don't require or recommend any quarantine.

Are COVID-19 tests required to travel to the United States?

  • All international arrivals to the US are required to present a negative PCR or Antigen test, no older than 72 hours.
  • Those who have recovered from COVID-19 within 90 days before entry, are exempt.
