Oman's airports are open for some travelers, and domestic restrictions are mostly lifted.

Can I travel to Oman?

  • Oman is open for vaccinated travelers with valid visas.
  • All arrivals must install the downloaded the Tarassud+ tracking app.

Do I need to go into quarantine when arriving to Oman?

All arrivals to Oman will be required to quarantine for 7 days in an approved hotel.

Vaccinated arrivals are exempt from quarantine if presenting negative test results. Those arriving without test results will be tested upon arrival and quarantined until results are available.

Are COVID-19 tests required to travel to Oman?

  • All arrivals to Oman over the age of 16 must present a negative PCR test, no older than 72 hours. For flights longer than 8 hours, the test must be no older than 96 hours.
  • For arrivals by air, a second test will be conducted upon entry, and a third one after 7 days of quarantine.
  • All foreign arrivals must have a valid health insurance, covering COVID-19.
