Honduras has opened its borders for travelers, however many domestic restrictions remain in place.

Can I travel to Honduras?

  • Honduras' borders are open for arrivals, with some health protocols in place.
  • Travellers who have been to UK or South Africa 21 days prior to their arrival, will not be permitted to enter Honduras.

Do I need to go into quarantine when arriving to Honduras?

Permitted arrivals from the UK and South Africa, will be required to self-quarantine for 14 days.

Are COVID-19 tests required to travel to Honduras?

All arrivals to Honduras will be required to present negative PCR test results, no older than 72 hours. Vaccinated arrivals are exempt.

Is public transportation open in Honduras?

Public transportation in Honduras is suspended.

Are the restaurants and bars open in Honduras?

Only restaurants that offer delivery service are open. Bars remain closed.

Are businesses and attractions open in Honduras?

  • Some non-essential businesses and attractions in Honduras are open, with capacity limitations and health measure in place.
  • Night clubs, cinemas, theaters and large events remain suspended.
  • A nightly curfew is in place between 22:00 and 5:00. In high-risk areas, it is from 20:00-05:00.

Do I need to wear a face mask in Honduras?

Wearing face masks is required in all public places.
