Can I travel to Finland?

  • Anyone from the following countries can travel to Finland for leisure:

    • Vatican City 🇻🇦
    • Australia 🇦🇺
    • New Zealand 🇳🇿
    • South Korea 🇰🇷
    • Singapore 🇸🇬
    • Thailand 🇹🇭
    • Iceland 🇮🇸
  • Non-Finnish family members of Finish citizens and residents can also enter Finland, including unmarried partners, based on a declaration. In some cases, additional information may be requested.
  • Flights from South Africa are suspended.

Do I need to go into quarantine when arriving to Finland?

  • Anyone arriving to Finland, is recommended to self-quarantine for 10 days.
  • Workers arriving from Norway are exempt from this recommendation.
  • Arrivals from the UK, Ireland and South Africa must self-quarantine for 14 days.

Are COVID-19 tests required to travel to Finland?

  • All arrivals are required to present negative PCR test, no older than 72 hours. Arrivals by private car are exempt.
  • It is possible to shorten the quarantine period if:

    • presenting a negative PCR test, no older than 72 hours, or taking one upon arrival
    • taking a second test within 72 hours of arrival
